Nikon 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6 VR DX – Best Zoom Lens for Travel?

Not everyone wants to carry around a bag full of primes when they go away on travels. For some, one zoom lens that does it all is just what they need as long as they have wide angle and enough tele reach covered. The AF-S Nikkor 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6( could be just what the doctor ordered…that along with the vaccines…but is it any good?

  1. You have obviously never lost a camera off a cliff, wall, building or in this case the side of a bus otherwise you would have used a camera strap! What a terrible idea to review a lens on a travelling open top bus – I learnt very little…which is a shame.

  2. It's sad that the video shows him bouncing around. The bus more then the details on the lens and its performance…

  3. Watching in Nov19 – how many places have been destroyed or at least damaged in protests…….

  4. Thanks. This helped me realize that DSLR photography is a rich man's game. If $500 buys you a "meh" lens, I think I'll stick with my iPhone. I like the results I get with it and I still have enough cash to afford food!

  5. I bought a Nikon D7000 with the 18-105 "kit" lens 7 years ago. After I broke the "kit" lens, I bought a Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR

18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II lens in 2014. The 18-200mm lens is a good combination of Zoom and Weight.

  6. if i was paying for your channel id want my money back your a clown. do it with out the fucking bus.i wanted a serious revue and what I is this shit. And its not that cheap at £500 not all of us can aford a £2000 lens.

  7. Which lens would you choose for a Nikon D500 please? Nikon 18-140mm, 18-200mm or 18-300mm? Or any others to suggest? Thanks! Your videos are awesome!

  8. Crop factor isn't a factor for DX lenses on DX/APS-C sensors, only for lenses built for full-frame sensors (FX) or 35mm film cameras. So the 140mm is a 140mm on DX, not 210mm.

  9. The more I watch his video the more dumber they seem to be, he likes to talk and joke more than stay on subject.
